Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. Office Expansion Project

Due to a rapid increase in staff, Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. decided to manage the shortage of workspace by creating a new office floor of approximately 1,313 square meters near its headquarters. However, since the company is considering relocating its headquarters in the future, the office was designed with a flexible strategy and limited-term usage in mind.

For this project, Interoffice provided design services and supplied furniture through our subscription service, “fittingbox.” The expansion space was required to be flexible, with a focus on minimizing costs for both the construction and eventual dismantling, while also being environmentally conscious. The plan prioritized sustainability and usability to provide a comfortable working environment.

To balance sustainability and user-friendliness, we decided to fully utilize Interoffice’s furniture subscription service, “fittingbox.” This enabled us to introduce high-quality furniture with great design and functionality while keeping initial costs low, ultimately enhancing user satisfaction.

The interior construction was limited to minimal partition work aligned with the building’s grid, and the existing interior was left unchanged to strictly control costs.

The zoning and layout were kept simple and easy to understand, allowing first-time users to navigate the space intuitively and without stress.

The design eliminates waste and features an efficient layout, including a central open meeting space with highly movable furniture, workstations without intermediate legs, height-adjustable desks dispersed throughout, 1-on-1 spaces, phone booths, meeting rooms dedicated to online conferences, and subtle signage incorporating the company’s corporate colors. This setup fosters a comfortable and creative working environment.
