A full renovation of the lobby and entire 16th floor of GMO Internet Group’s headquarters in Shibuya. Based on a concept by NAP Architects, Interoffice led the project from design development through construction and furniture procurement.
Exposed ceilings and steel structure create an industrial framework, softened by natural materials, art, and greenery throughout. Triangular geometric patterns on walls and floors embody the group’s management philosophy, while the 16th floor — branded “GMO Gallery” — features works by contemporary artist Julian Opie, creating an inspiring space for business and conversation.
