Newly opened in Sannomiya Station in Chuo-ku, Kobe City, is the new branch of L’AVENUE, a confectionery shop that offers takeaway chocolate cakes as well as gelato and crepes for on-site consumption. The shop showcases the skills of a chocolatier trained in France and features a sophisticated monochrome exterior and interior design, with two entrances designed to accommodate different purposes.
The exterior features a rounded frame design for the doors and windows, creating a simple and modern ambiance. The walls are predominantly white, taking into account harmony with the existing tile and awnings. To capture the essence of French streets, benches have been installed outdoors.
The interior is designed with the main showcase constructed using a compact USM Haller grid system, which also allows for the installation of an automated cash register. Wooden countertops have been chosen to facilitate the placement of the cash register and enhance the shop’s distinctive design. The floor is tiled, curtains are used for the kitchen windows, and lighting fixtures made of glass and lava stone have been carefully selected to create a space that harmoniously combines individuality.
