Interoffice has aligned with the mission of the NPO “Homedoor,” which supports the self-reliance of people in need. We have donated furniture to the inclusive shelter “And Base” to help improve living conditions and support social reintegration.

Homedoor, based in Osaka, is an NPO that provides living support and self-reliance assistance to people in difficult living conditions. They operate support facilities such as “And Center” and “And Base,” offer meal services like “Okaeri Kitchen,” and provide employment opportunities through initiatives like the bike-sharing service “HUBchari.” Their support includes employment assistance and housing provision to help people in need achieve independence and reintegrate into society.

At Interoffice, we actively discuss and promote the reuse of furniture through our office furniture subscription service “Fittingbox.” Our collaboration with Homedoor has materialized, allowing us to contribute to supporting people in need and discovering a new form of social contribution.

An interview with Kana Kawaguchi, the director of Homedoor, is available on the Fittingbox website. Please click here to view the interview.
