1. Real-world Extension of the Online Store “MAARKET”
MAARKET Tokyo serves as the physical counterpart to the online store “MAARKET (maarket.jp),” which opened its virtual doors in 2020. “MAARKET”, a place where people and design intersect, is a marketplace in the truest sense. From the curated selection of high-quality brands, customers can choose products that align with their lifestyles, transforming spaces, enriching lives, and bringing more joy to everyday living. The birth of the brick-and-mortar store allows customers to experience items previously only visible online. Delight in the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new world of design.
The store’s design is the work of the Interoffice Design Studio (IDS), an interoffice design team. With a focus on design-centric products, MAARKET Tokyo aspires to become a store reminiscent of a design museum.
The logo design for MAARKET Tokyo was designed by graphic designer Misa Awatsuji.

At MAARKET Tokyo, we curate a selection of high-quality furniture from around the world, with a focus on Europe, to introduce a new lifestyle to customers with a keen awareness of design. From timeless and elegant brands like Knoll, ClassiCon, and Agapecasa to unique and creative items from Muuto, Sowden, Lyon Béton, and more, you can enjoy a wide-ranging lineup while shopping. Additionally, we are proud to present the exclusive launch of the limited-edition USM Haller in Olive Green from Swiss modular furniture manufacturer USM, introduced in 2023. Available for the first time in Japan, this exclusive color will be featured in three types: sideboards, lowboards, and highboards. The Olive Green color is an exclusive item that can only be purchased at MAARKET Tokyo and the USM showroom in Japan.
3. Muuto Store Tokyo
Within the premises of MAARKET Tokyo, a new store for the Danish furniture brand Muuto will be established, offering you the beauty and functionality of New Nordic design. Founded in Copenhagen in 2006, Muuto has garnered international attention for its innovative design and sustainable values. While inheriting the beauty and functionality of Scandinavian design, Muuto incorporates new ideas and technology, earning high praise for its innovative approach and craftsmanship.
Muuto’s first exclusive store in Japan is the brand’s fifth flagship store worldwide, following locations in Copenhagen, Paris, Stockholm, and Taipei. The store features a wide range of items, including furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, and more, showcasing the latest creations where designers’ creativity and cutting-edge materials converge. These innovative pieces are displayed according to various scenes such as living and dining areas.
4. SOL’S COFFEE GAIEN
Located within the store is “SOL’S COFFEE,” a locally owned and operated coffee roastery originating from Kuramae in downtown Tokyo. In a comfortable and inviting space, SOL’S COFFEE at MAARKET Tokyo offers daily enjoyment of coffee that is not only delicious but also gentle on the body.
5. Garden Area, “From a View Garden to a Living Garden.”
MAARKET Tokyo also features a garden area on the terrace inside the store, designed to inspire the enjoyment of spending time outdoors rather than just observing from inside. Designed by Belgian garden architect BLOESEM and plant professionals from FUGA in Tokyo, the garden offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere through green coordination and outdoor furniture. The goal is to create a space where the garden transitions from being a scenic view to an integral part of daily living.
