Interoffice, in collaboration with Vitra, organized and hosted the “Dynamic Spaces” exhibition at the Interoffice Tokyo showroom. Creating flexible working environments within offices, referred to as “Dynamic Spaces,” integrates people, places, and technology, enabling workers to have freedom in how, when, and where they work. Technology serves as software for workers, while the office serves as the hardware. With “Dynamic Spaces,” which allows for easily adaptable office layouts to meet changing needs, various work styles can be accommodated, and the spaces can be used for multiple purposes. Without the need for specialized contractors, workers themselves can modify the spaces, transforming workplaces into workshops or meeting rooms into waiting areas, resulting in cost savings. This concept can be applied not only in offices but also in public spaces, educational facilities, healthcare facilities, and various other settings.
At the exhibition, held in Interoffice’s live office showroom, the focus was on Vitra’s latest office furniture system called “Comma,” which can be reconfigured to meet specific needs without interfering with the building’s structure. The exhibition proposed a new workspace concept called “Dynamic Spaces.” A video showcasing detailed exhibition information is currently available.
